The Thompson family were employed in the beverage business in Kingston from 1867 to 1943.
By the time this label was used on soda bottles, the business was being run by George A. Thompson. Flourishing under his leadership in the 1930's his Princess Street operation boasted modern bottling machinery that could produce 1000 cases a day.
