Design

The Dowling Brothers ran the American Bottling Company from 1943-1950 on Ontario Street in Kingston from 1943-1950, serving customers from Napanee to Gananoque. 

After 1950 the operation continued as an Orange Crush franchise. So this label design, painstakingly recreated using reference images of period bottles, represents the final gasp of local flavor from an operation that had been part of Kingston life since 1884.
